To add a new comment to a User Story (or to a Task), on the details page of that User Story (or Task) scroll to the bottom of the current comments list, enter your comment in the designated text box and then click COMMENT. For help with formatting the comment, in the bottom-right side of the text box, click Markdown syntax help.
To attach a file to your comment, drag and drop the file you want to attach in the text box – the attached file is automatically added to the list in the attachments section of the User Story’s details page and to your comment as a string.
If the file you attach cannot be displayed automatically by the browser (for example, a Word file), the string that you see in the text box will transform into a link to the file when you preview or save your comment. If the file you attach can be displayed automatically by the browser (for example, an image file), the string that you see in the text box is preceded by a ! and will transform into a preview of the file when you preview or save your comment – you can remove the ! if you want the string to transform into a link to the file.
To preview the comment, in the top-right corner of the text box, click ; to return to the editor and continue editing the comment click or, to save the comment, click COMMENT.
If you are an administrator for the project, you can delete comments posted by any user. To do this, position your pointer over any comment and then, on the right side, click .
To view any deleted comment, on the deleted comments list, for that specific comment, click Show deleted comment.
After you delete a comment, you can restore it. To do this, on the deleted comments list, for that comment, click Restore comment.
